Parker is a son of High Brow Hickory: Earner of $229,771, NCHA Futurity Co Reserve Champion, NCHA Open Breeders Cutting Reserve Champion, AQHA Reserve Hi Point Cut & Hi Point Cut S. Equistat All Time Top 25 Leading Cutting Sire of earners of $4,704,018. Parker's dam, NSR Smartlittlesugar, is sired by Haidas Sugar Doc: NCHA earner of $140,884 and Non-Pro NCHA World Champion; sire of NCHA money earners, ROM and Superior Performers, and Top 10 World Show offspring.Though not yet shown, Parker has started cutting training. Doc Eddy Pep Olena-AQHA Sorrel Stallion
Helland Ranch is proud to say that Doc Eddy Pep Olena a 1999 AQHA sorrel stallion is one of six herd sires at the ranch. Not only has "Straight" proven himself as a breeding horse but also proven himself as an incredible working cow horse that can get any job done. Besides Straight's athletic ability and great conformation he is bred in the purple. He is sired by Coke Olenas Pep, who is a son of NCHA & AQHA Hall Of Fame, Peppy San Badger and out of a point earning daughter of Doc Olena. To the marternal side of Straight's pedigree he is out of an own point earning daughter of Doc O'lena (NCHA Champion & Money Earner). Doc O Dynamite is a NCHA money earner and a performance point earner and was known for siring champions in reining, cutting, roping, & barrel racing. At 21 years old Doc O Dynamite sold for $70,000. Sparkin Hot Dewd-AQHA Palomino Stallion
Sparkin Hot Dewd is Helland Ranch's junior stallion and we are very excited to watch this stalion progress into a herd sire and produce outstanding offspring in the future. Dewd is a 2007 AQHA palomino stallion that has the gorgeous deep palomino coloring with a long-flowing snowy, white mane and tail. This young stallion has Carol Rose's breeding program all packed into the top of his pedigree. He is sired by Sparkin Hot who has 93 AQHA performance points and 2 halter points, is a World Show Qualifier, and an ROM earner. Sparking Hot is an own son of the famous Shining Spark that has sired foals that have earned more than $7.3 million and 32,881 AQHA points and out of a great granddaughter of Zan Parr Bar who also made his history at the Carol Rose Ranch. Dewd's dam Justa Dakotachic Dew is out of Herkalena (AQHA point earner) who is sired by Babcock Ranch's super stallion Smart Chic Olena (NCHA Hall of Fame). We really look forward to bringing this stallion into our breeding program.

Pocos Blue Magic-AQHA Dun Stallion
Pocos Blue Magic is a 2003 AQHA dun stallion that has been a herd sire at the ranch now for a couple years. This nice young stallion unfourtnetly was never started or rode due to injury as a youngster but has been proving himself as a sire. Heavily bred Blackburn on the bottome "Pa" has been a consistent color producer. This young stallion still has Blackburn 40 on his papers. Blackburn 40 was an AQHA champion and was a point earner in halter, reining, western riding, western pleasure, and he was also a ROM Performance earner. Pa is a super gentle stallion and loves attention and passes on his loving disposition to his foals.

Snake Eyed Blue SOS is a 2002 AQHA true blue roan that was recently purchased and brought to the ranch. Before coming to the Helland Ranch Blue was left to run free until he was two but with his gentle eye and willing disposition Blue has taken to haltering and is currently being ridden under saddle. Blue should have tons of athletic ability with some run in him. His breeding traces back to the foundation quarter horses such as Roan Bar, Easy Jet, & Three Bars. Blue also has the added bounus of color with his sire being a blue roan and dam a red roan and many generations back packed with color makes Blue a 100% color producer to date. Nite Larks Chief-APHA Black & White Stallion
Nite Larks Chief is one of two paint herd sires at the Helland Ranch. “Lark” is a gorgeous 1999 black and white tobiano paint that shows a lot of potential in the roping and barrel racing arenas. He can stop and turn on a dime and shows a great disposition by not getting hot or spooky he’s an absolute joy to have around. “Lark” has been a proven color producer not siring any sorrel foals to date and siring 92% of colored paints even on solid mares and siring predominately black. Along with Larks wonderful disposition and athletic ability he has a wonderful pedigree. Sired by Night Lark an own son of Jet Lark who had a speed index of 93, earnings of $9,000+, a Race ROM and was a Champion Halter Horse. Which makes Lark a great grandson of the remarkable Quarter Horse, Moon Lark (SI-99, AAA, $859,000+ Race Earnings, Race ROM and was the sire to offspring earning more than $10 million). Now to the bottom side of Larks pedigree he is by an own daughter of Zaxon who was a sire of point earners earning more than 1000+ points and ROM earners in both performance and halter. Zaxon was sired by Zippo Cash Bar who was an AQHA Champion an earner of 62 halter points, 24 performance points and a Performance ROM earner. JC Amigosdreamsupreme aka “Dreamer” is Helland Ranch’s other paint herd sire. Dreamer is a 2001 true smokey black and white tobiano. He is sired by APHA World Champion Heading horse Sonnys Amigo Bar X TD My Investment who is a world champion sire which goes back to Go Lucky Matt (AQHA performance & halter point earner & Performance ROM earner) who traces back to Sonny Dee Bar, Eternal Sun, and Sugar Bars. And to all of those paint breeders who want color Dreamer carries both the tobiano and cream gene so color is a guarantee.
